A project by Murielle Elizéon

Augenblick was a sensory, site-specific multi-generationnal performance created by Murielle Elizéon and performed with performers age 20-95 in the City Theater of Freiburg, Germany in 2013. Each performer lead one single blind-folded participant at the time in a sensory journey through the theater's hidden corners, staircases, opera dressing-rooms, rehearsals rooms and corridors exploring thematics of expectations, relationships, intimacy, fear and excitement of the unknown, as well as ageing and loneliness. Each audience member was eventually left alone in an unknown location in the theater, and asked to team up with another “lost” audience member to find their way back to the starting point with a series of interactive tasks and actions.
